In Europe, three families reside and rule from the shadows; the Romanovs from Russia, Bernadottes from Sweden, and Kaisers from Germany. Though separate in opinion and country, all three have one thing in common: working from the shadows to rule their countries in secret.
But not anymore.
Ten years ago the Romanov House outed the existence of others. Outed the existence of non-humans to the Russian populace. No longer did they have to hide in the shadows, keeping their existence from the world, hiding behind diplomat puppets. The vampire rulers were free to rule up front, and take credit for the good they've done for their people.
And now that they're outed, the fight between the three houses had gotten worse and more violent. Each one wants to force their own opinions onto the world, their own style of ruling and politics. So far the war hasn't gotten past subterfuge and sabotage, but it's only a matter of time. All over the world people are being told that vampires exist, the press conference held by the Romanov leader shown around the globe.
Vampires. Werewolves. Super-humans. Witches. Even the existence of ghosts.
Protect. Destroy. Conquer. What will you fight for?
